Mudskippers is a once-played special game from the original version of Takeshi's Castle.
All the contestants have to crawl, wade, and drag themselves through the thick mudflats of the Ariake Sea.
Halfway through the mud are red and blue banners hanging from wires in the air. The contestants need to reach up and grab one of these to be able to move onto the next round. Anyone who doesn't have a banner by the time the final whistle blows loses, and is out of the game.
