The Great Wall is a starting game first played on the original version of Takeshi's Castle.
This is a pretty straight forward starting game, once the whistle blows, all the contestants have to try and climb over a tall wall to make it into the castle grounds. Once up, they have to slide down a slope on the other side, sometimes ending up in water traps or pools of mud.
Any contestant that hasn't managed to get over the wall before the whistle blows has lost, and is out of the game.
